Sloppy rear end?
Hey all...need some advice.
The rear end of the car seems to have gotten sloppy over the past year or so. Just to get it out of the way...I checked all the subframe bolts and they are very tight. I don't have the "body in the trunk" thump or anything like that.
The symptoms are when I hit bumps in the road, seems like instead of the car just going up and down, it kicks sideways a little bit to the right. Sort of weird to explain, just seems like bushings are twisting or something else is loose where a typical jaunce in the suspension due to normal road bumps causes the rear end to shift sideways a little.
The other issue...which might be related is that I have some annoying creaking and squeeking coming from the back end when going slowly over bumps. Not a "thump", but more of a creaking noise you'd expect from a Kia.
Car has 57,000 miles.
Any ideas to fix this would be great.
Thanks!!
