A few people have already done this conversion. I think you can find posts throughout MBWorld now. There are some in the W211 forums too.
I'm not sure where the others sourced their parts, but I bought mine from Japan at this store:

I had to go order in person and then come back to pick them up since they don't keep them in their inventory.
I don't know when I will go back to Tokyo. However, if I go again, I will post to see if people want me to help buy any of these kits.
