Just noticed something today that I have wanted for Sooo long, I just hope nothings wrong. My car looks like someone dropped it with washers in front and with star in back. like it is EXACTLY like the pic below (courtesy of BenzDoc)

I didnt do a thing to it, just found it like that, it doesnt ride different, it isnt un-level, and nothing seems wrong.

to clarify, you recently noticed that all of a sudden it's sitting a lot lower without doing any modifications to it? if so, your dreams are shattered my friend and you most likely have airmatic failure.

All 4 shocks at once? or the compressor? what part would trip these symptoms?

The first one is with the car running, which raised it about a half inch alone, then second is with it raised, all in sport II

How long had your car been sitting when you noticed the drop?

uhh, About 20 hours in the garage, at about 60*

dont wait til it drops too much, you will then have it towed to the dealer/repair shop. Might want to start getting parts for it in the meantime. Arnott or do like benz*(#$*@#* and get full springs replacement.

No warranty either, guess with all the struts, and parts, Im looking at over $4,000 already.. assuming I do it myself too

Is the left pic supposed to be Sport II (non-raised)? If so, it doesn't look lowered at all.

No dnot be worried at all. Afterall the car fairys came in the middle of the night and lowered your can just like you dreamed. If you dream about more horsepower they can take care of that too. The only thing they can't fix is your claim that you've owned the car from day one

Whats with you, I have CLEARLY told everyone multiple times, my Dad bought it new, and gave it to me!! Jesus, is it clear enough yet? and Sorry for posting advice, after all, its not like MBWorld is to help others and give advice..

Yes, it did raise back to normal, but it lowers after about 2 minutes with the car off, and it lowers a lot, when it drops i cant even fit my hand in between the tire and the fender. Ill take another pic when It does this again
