Your AMG Jacket

I thought that, I would share some information with you all. Some of you might be wondering where you can buy a AMG Jacket from?
Well if your interested in your own AMG Jacket, although not OEM. I will tell you all where I got mine from. It's ebay!!
My gray and black jacket is slightly different, then the jacket displayed on ebay, as it has the Affalterbach crest on the back. My white and dark navy blue jacket, is like the black one shown on ebay. But regardless these are nice jacket! made of cotton and silk. Sorry about the quality of the photos, I took them this morning with my iphone.

I've had mine for quite awhile as well, and I recently wore it to an AMG Performance Drive in NY. And some of the AMG PL members inquired as to where, I got it from. So I thought why not share this with the MBWorld as well.

The Jacket that your referring to in the photo isn't white and black, but instead white and navy blue. The last time, I check on ebay, they had the black and gray and a all black jacket for sell. Just search for AMG Jacket, Mercedes AMG Jackets or Mercedes Jacket, as it might be market under different names.

If I ever wore a jacket like that I'd have to kick my own ***.
Reminds of of someone with a Honda Civic that makes sure they put no less than 10 "Civic" badges on their car.
If it said AMG in small letters on the right breast, that'd be cool. That's tacky and fugly.

I used to Auto-X with Corvettes of Minnesota (no I never had one) and when I saw this hacket, it brought me back to 2002-2004 when I'd get there really early in the morning and these Vette owners would be hanging out, decked out in Jackets that looked exactly like this AMG one.

William - thanks for posting the information on your AMG jacket. I was going to ask you about it after looking at your pictures from the AMG Performance Drive Event in NY. However, I wish they sold the AMG jackets the instructors and people running the event were wearing. Those looked really nice.

I hear you brotha, I wish the same thing. I talked to Terrence (Lead Instructor) about acquiring one. He said that it's the property of Mercedes Benz. I also inquired about it to the Chief Editor in the AMG Private Lounge website. He said that, I was very subtle in my inquiry, and that the team had to dig for the information, and that the jackets were team wear for the AMG Driving Academy, and are not for sale. But, he did say that another version of the AMG jackets are for sale through MB. I've seen those jackets, although they are nice, but not as nice as the ones, the instructors wore. I have received varying comments about these jackets, some people like them, while others were not so flattering in their comments about them. To each his own, I rather like them, although they do have a little too many AMG's on them. But if you want one, they can be bought on ebay, just do a search for it. And thank you for the nice comment, at least some people have a positive attitude towards the jacket. You try to post something nice for the benefit of all, and some people try to slam you for it, as if I designed and manufacutred the jackets myself.

What is wrong with wearing such unique jacket, say at the track where for the most part there's a very small amount of AMGs drag racing and you are perhaps the only person walking around with one..oh and when that screen lights up on that low 11/10 second passs!! there goes the funny looking dude with the "FUGLY" jacket

I did own a 2000 M5 at one point.
I would wear one that had AMG in the middle back. I would wear one with the AMG on the right or left breast.
I have nothing against wearing clothes representing what you like. But that goes way overboard.

I am liking this forum more and more. I had a Lexus before and the forum I was on was full of the biggest cry babies on the internet, and moderated just the same.
