WTB: Enthusiast Owned E63 Wagon
Hello Gents,
First post here, with an interest in acquiring the car I've sought for many years. The one Audi refuses to bring from over "the pond"- an estate supercar. The mix of practicality and all out performance is such a rare concept, and although I've admittedly turned a cold shoulder to Mercedes on more than one occasion, they have my undivided attention with the E63 estate wagon. As you might not be shocked to find based on my username, my natural preference is AWD, but I must admit it's been a while since I've had the back end slide out on me and I'm probably overdue!
Before taking this step, I looked seriously at the CTS-V wagon and there's a lot to love about that car. Tremendously powerful engine embedded in an excellent chassis; not to mention a manual gearbox offering. In the end, I've decided that I prefer the looks of the E63, and believe that the Mercedes may be of slightly better build quality.
That said, I'm what you might say, "in the market" for a well cared for E63 Wagon. Willing to consider any color or mileage. As I've discovered on my search, the E63 wagons are very, very difficult to come by (especially in excellent condition). That said, if you have one for sale, or know of one that is- I'd be very appreciative if you could pass along the info.
Many thanks, and looking forward to participating on the forum!

good luck finding one period, they are pretty hard to get ahold of. It took my neighbor close to 7 months to track a E55 wagon down.
