Is it safe to drive in the raised height on e63?
so, in the temporary time, is it ok to drive the car in the raised hieght position? going on a 500 mi road trip tomorrow and just wanted to make sure. I will have 5 people in the car plus a bunch of crap in the trunk, so its going to be weighted down.
thx guys!

Is correct read your owners manual. I have 275/35-19 on my E63, it it's slightly lowered with no rubbing issues, and I've had four people in the car. Could it be the offset of your rear wheels. Or is your car extemely lowered?
But if he's driving with it raised it won't lower until 75
From the manual:
At a speed exceeding approximately 68 mph with normal level set or exceeding 75 with raised level set, the ride height is reduced automatically.
Yuille is right too. I have 275/35 19's as well. mine's lowered and still doesn't rub even with a full load.

my car is at stock height. the rim offset is et37 i believe. with the 275/30, i never had any issues.
the other big deal for me is the car's airmatic seems to be saggin more and more these days. i gave it to the dealer to look it over and they said it still is performaing within limited. its a load of **** i believe but whatever.
guess i need to keep the car under 75 then... thats prolly a good thing, will keep my butt from speeding! haha...
thx fellas!
