Seat Element burnt out

Hey guys, any of you ever have the seat element burn out on you that is responsible for the heated/cooled seats. I guess there are two of them. One in the seat and one stiched into the leather cover. The one in the leather cover is burnt out on mine so I need to get it replaced. The dealership I bought the car from though says that its a part I can't even put on backorder. Anyone have any different suggestions on how I could get this fixed?

You can use a heat pad from the 202/203 as the pads are separate
Unlike the later cars with pads with seat covers

So your saying I can use the element out of a 202/203 model because their element is the same but is not in the cover. This suggest that I just leave my old burnt out element in the seat and plug in this one your recommending and it should work fine? I appreciate the reply. I will look into it. Thank you.

I would remove the old seat heat pad that requires removal of the seat cover to remove the old pad sewn into the seat back or bottom.I have seen several heat pads that are in a pocket and are easy to remove the seat heat pad

That will require removal and tear down of the seat
