Detailed Dicast Models of E55?

I'm looking for a nice detailed model of a white E55. I found this website http://www.autoartmodels.com/web/pro...194BA1685C6C93

And I really like the amount of detail in it. I emailed them, but they don't have W211 E55s on the site It would be even more awesome if I could find a place that would customize some of the features on the car (Matte black some accents so it would look just like my car).

Anyone know a good place?

What do you think of the detail in this one?

I wouldn't mind having a model of my current car next to a model of my dream car. Lol.

And I heard that some diecast models have real leather on the inside. How much are those?

AutoArt is seriously good stuff. GMP & Kyosho also produce some detailed models.

I had about 400-500 in AutoArt, GMP & Kyosho models at my office before our old building burned down.

Same response here, I asked how many orders it will take for them to consider production. We will see what they say...

I would definitely pay the money for a W211 Diecast model. I have been looking for months for one, as i was trying to get a diecast model of the cars that i have driven. I wish someone could do a custom order.

I'm a seasoned collector and I would know if anyone had produced a E55, and the answer is no, let alone one that is as detailed as Autoart or Kyosho makes. Kyosho did make a 211-E320, but don't think anyone would be interested in that. But AutoArt does make the C63 as well as the S63 (in SWB form) and CL63.

Edit: Norev recently released the W212 E as well as the new E Coupe, might be a AMG somewhere down the line

Maisto is somewhat a low class diecast manufacturer, while they have gotten better lately, the minichamps SLS is far more accurate and better detailed.

Some models do have actual leather, search for the AutoArt S63 with real leather, they can cost upwards of $130, and while I've never had one, they don't look exactly appealing to me.

You guys should spread the word (I will too). We'll see how many orders we can get. Maybe we can get them to produce them for us.

It'll probably be a pain though as we'll all want different colors.

Here is what they told me:

Dear Sir,
It requires several thousand pieces to make the project viable.

I might be willing to buy 2, but I don't know if we can get to "several thousand" maybe we should start a tally here and on other MB forums to see how close we can get to show them some real demand?

So basically a ratio of one model for one E55 sold...! Heck I'll buy the first 500 pieces.
