Question Meth + 550 cc fuel injectors, AFR effect?!

Hello all,

Well, I just got my the parts and I have few questions and I hope someone can give me the answer knowing that currently the car currently has 11.4 - 10.7 AFR (starting with 11.4 and ending with 10.7 at the end of the run on gear 3)

- If I installed 550 cc fuel injectors + Meth kit, how the AFR will look like before getting a tune? I can guess it would be rich but how bad to drive it normally without flooring the car for few days?

- If my guess was the car will be so rich, is it possible to use the STAR settings option to select fuel delivery that allow you to either, lean it, normal, or rich it to at least make temporary change to lean where it will tend to lean the delivery to compensate the new increase in fuel due to the 550 injectors and the meth kit?

I have read somewhere in other forums that AFR will be changed if Meth kit is add and it will make it richer.

Tune option is only applicable after few days as I will replace 2 pistons and then I have to drive the car for a while until it is good time for tune.

what happened to your engine !! 2 pistons !!

2 pistons, started with blue smoke coming after hard pushes but that only comes when the car get cold and that would be something 2 - 3 hours after the car is off, and then went smoking after more hard pushing on several occasions.

I don't know what's the reason until now, but I know what I will do next and I really started to see the disadvantage of tuning remotely even if typical known parts and stages are installed in the car !!!! Dyno tune and tuner next to the car is a must, this is my little point of view

so true, you have to dyno your cr while tuning. even remotly. there must be data logs sent and from there keep enhancing your tune. that what i did to my car.

i think some oil is being leaked and mixed with the fuel if it is blue.

maybe some O-rings or something. it is better to check it first before driving it hard. I know you enjoy it. but your engine safety is more important.
