i just had mine done yesterday too, the sound is unbelievable!! should have come this way from the factory. I find myself giving it some extra "gas" at every stop light now! HAHA

Def no drone at all in the interior, hell, you wouldn't even know the difference with the windows up and at normal cruising or normal acceleration. but just give it a bit more tap, and she barks! i love it!!!

Thanks dannish for the sound clip. (side note, you really should remove those vids or pics, you kinda do look like a douche, even though i know you are not).

I hate you guys now.

I'm gonna be singing "never thought that I would evah miss you...never thought that I..." Ugggh...all the way over to Buckhead Imports today where we're dyno'ing the beast.

Car sounds friggin' awesome and looks great too. I too can't believe what just dropping the res will do on a '63. Keep the cats.

Time to crank some slayer and get that song out of my head.

Then I followed later by deleting my 2nd cat. Perfect!
I've tried it all and this is the best the exhaust is sounding to me .
Just my honest opinion!

thats my plan to do X pipe with it but i want to make sure that there is no drone, i would hate to spend the money and its an annoying sound

Exactly, had them hack out the resonator and replace with straight pipe. And actually if you look at the system, they have two breaking points where flanges are in place. It's hard to describe on here without pictures, but I had to only cut two pipes ends and the other two are unbolted. So if I want to go back to stock, simply unbolt and put in stock by welding at two points. Pretty trick really, I'll have to get pics of it.

There is no point to an x-pipe if you are retaining your stock cats bc the crossover already happens just b4 the secondary cats.

However, if you are removing secondary cats as well as res, I highly suggest putting the x-pipe in, it will mellow/smoothen out the sound.

There is ZERO drone, any rpm, any gear. It's mildly louder cruising if windows are open, but closed, honestly I did not hear a difference compared to stock.
