Is this a good deal?
I am currently looking for an E55 with most of the packages, and i came across this one in AZ.

What do you guys think? worth it for me to fly over there and drive it back ( im in san jose,ca). I am also hoping i can talk him down to 25000 or so since thats all i currently have to spend on a car.
All input is appreciated. Thanks

Looks like a really good deal to me but there has got to be a catch. It is renntech'ed out and those parts are hella bank. If all is legit then go for it.

IDK, but there are many cars on this forum that are for sale and you know exactly what you are getting, but that is your choice. Also, if it does have all that renntech stuff I really think $25k is a low ball offer.

yea that's what im worries about, the parts alone are like 14k since its the Performance Package 4...
what are some good ways to find out if its legit or not before going there. nothing definitive obviously but some things i can do before i waste time/money going there.
thanks

Never hurts to start low. If it's clean, and it has the Renntech stuff to make it 570 HP (Crank I assume), then it's worth it at the asking price with the options and mileage, imo.

I'd probably ask him for the paperwork and documentation for the mods from Renntech.
btw, he spelled Renntech wrong (2 times) but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Hopefully.

take it to an indy and they can look at it, test compression and see if anything major is wrong. renntech Headers, airbox, pulley you should be able to see.

Have him take it to DynoComp in Scottsdale. They were the authorized Renntech dealer in AZ if anyone can verify it for you they can. Just pay for an hour or so of labor to look the car over.
