i've been looking in the search button and i cant find anything, i've looked online and the only thing i find is the star grill chrome, but im looking for something smoked or black but cant seem to find anything.
can anyone help me out or post a link? i've seen some of you have an aftermarket grill but im tired of searching and having no result.

Very hard to find I too was in the same situation. was able to find one on Ebay for $100 and had it painted.

 

does it have the badge on the top or no?

The best I saw was a thread here that suggested spray painting it yourself or using Plasti Dip. So many with these grills, hard to believe everyone's is DIY. Googled as well...

I'm in agreement, I spent a good amount of time googling as well, even was reading through the thread on the CF grills (spacing is a little to much for my taste). Can't say how many times i've seen "use search", as a newbie you shy away from asking.

I have searched all over any form what I have found is every once in a while one shows up on ebay. If any one sells them please post where to buy from I would rather not paint it myself.

 

Gus83... i'm going to try and do it myself. I just picked up an OEM W211 E55 grill (watch out the E55 has more slates) and will attempt to prep it and paint it myself.

Others with blacked out grills, any tips on DIY?
