2007 E63 with 49,000 miles threw the P009A code yesterday. Can anyone please define this for me. Thanks!

Whatever we're tuning!
That code is not showing up as a MB or generic codes. How are you checking for codes?

Auto-zone CEL check

it is coded as Chrysler. I googled it and found this:

http://www.slkworld.com/slk-r171-gen...ode-p009a.html

talks about the ambient sensor in the fog light area reading too high. Well, I put in a SRX radar/ laser jammer this past week. I mounted the jammer sensor next to the ambient sensor and when I put it back together I guess I pressed the sensor out and it was lying in the pan inside the wheel well. The reading went as high as 150'F so I suspect this is the culpret.

Thanks for posting, do you guys have rotors and pads for the E63? I will need some in around 4,000 or so miles.

Good news....the CEL light went off the next day. Apparently the sensor just needed to get some normal range readings, Thanks for reading.
