HELP!! Looking at a Couple E55's..Opinion on Prices??

Hey fellas,

I'm again looking to get back into possibly getting back into another E55 (have had 2 previously) and was wondering what you thought of these:

2006 66k miles (was on ebay for $25,895 w/o reserve)
http://www.carsforsale.com/used_cars...lass_136668757

2004 48k miles (asking $28,991 has pano roof)
http://www.mbzla.com/used/Mercedes-B...687a57253.htm#

2005 64k miles (asking $28,444)
http://www.elitemotorsonline.com/web...linois/818740/

2005 55k miles (asking $29,990 has pano roof)
http://www.sunsetgm.com/Used/2005_ME...leDetails.aspx

Looks like option number one is the best so far but I wanted to try to hold out for one w/pano..

I'm looking either a black or white E55. Ideally it would have the pano roof, keyless, dynamic, nav. I'm looking to spend about $25,000 or so on one. Is 25k realistic for an 04-06 under 70k miles w/pano roof? If anyone has one or has any leads please let me know

http://www.carsforsale.com/used_cars...lass_136668757 The price is good and 06 is the last year should be more reliable. This one comes with good equipped.

Too expensive for 04 compare to the first one. I don't recommend Pano-roof. I heard a lot of scary story about Pano so I practically just don't open them my self. And it weight extra 80Lbs.

2005 64k miles (asking $28,444)

Too expensive and Pano.....

BTW, I thought you are looking for a white E55 anyways, there is a lot of factor than just options and price. All depend the condition and how it was treated. How many previous owner ? if more than 2 IMO, not for me. So depends on the car condition.

^^ Hey Charly thanks for the reply.

I was looking for a white one but a black one will be just fine with me as well. I really like how the E55 looks in both black and white.

I previously had an 04 black w/o pano and an 04 silver w/ pano and I definitely enjoyed the pano roof but is it a deal breaker for me? Not sure just yet..

Pano is overrated, just like sunroofs I never got the point, try to get an 06, they fixed some "bugs" in the earlier models. By the way go for black, white gets dirty easily and IMO it's let elegant but it's still beautiful. Don't get silver, if you can get flint grey, it's gorgeous and so unique. By the way don't underestimate the color, some people I know have bought cars and though "I'd change later for 2-4k" but nothing beats a factory paint job, especially a Merc, they're baked which makes the paint more durable and the quality is better. Had my E46 M3 resprayed for $3500, it was done by a highly recommended shop which does alot of magazine show cars, the paint though didn't turn out like I wanted, it wasn't as "even" and "fluid" as the stock job, it's hard to explain. There are places that do better jobs than the factory but they cost ALOT.

Anyways good luck with the purchase

Yup, Black can't go wrong..... just need to clean it more often...... since you already owned black pano E55 before, you should know. Good luck with your purchase.
