Suspension Story and Question

I own a 2007 E63. So I noticed the other day that my left side was an inch lower than my right. I took it to the dealership and they told me that the previous owner had lowered it via the computer system. So to fix the problem, they reset it back to factory settings.

Long story short, I hate the factory look. The back is ok, but the front looks ridiculously high.

So my question is, does changing out the springs really change the ride? Also can I just lower the front and leave the back? Is the best way to use springs or like the previous guy by just adjusting the electronic shock set up?

Thanks

You do realize the car has the ADSII Airmatic suspension system, yes?

My 2 cents find someone who knows STAR (computer system) inside and out and have them reset front and back. Will cost you $200-400 if done right, but you won't look back. Sounds like the previous owner got a bit of a hack job.

When somebody says this: "So my question is, does changing out the springs really change the ride? Also can I just lower the front and leave the back? Is the best way to use springs or like the previous guy by just adjusting the electronic shock set up?" .....then it just made me wonder if he knew this was a pneumatic system and not "electronic shocks." Changing out the springs? What does that mean on an Airmatic system? Or to "use springs".....?

I was confused myself, plus a couple of drinks. Just having fun...or trying.
