Down here the E63 is still REALLY expensive and I would be crazy to switch to the W211 E63, I test drove one before getting my car amongst other machines, for me it was no comparison, the 55 although older felt much better and was faster. The W212 is out of the question as the cheapest is 200k dollars here. I know it sucks but that's the way it is.
The question I have is WHY it's impossible to take out, I never really understood the braking system, the dealer does the pad changes and all so I don't really understand.

Well....Anything is possible
A new complete brake system,Booster, master cylinder brake lines, abs system,
LOTS of labor...and some sds work
I also don't care for the sbc on my 211.But since I don't drive it much it's ok

The most difficult part will be the ecu and wiring parts. Then you have the expense of changing out the brake booster, master cylinder, abs pump, and lines. It's going to be a huge hassle.
Why would you swap though? SBC may suck, but it's not THAT bad and has a 10 year warranty.
