Hey guys I just purchased my first Merc. 04 E55. I picked it up at a salvage auction tapped in the back so Ill be getting in the shop asap. I have the quarter panel off a Eclass that will fit. Not sure what Ill do witht he rear bumper, are the e63 bumpers a straight swap or something aftermarket out there that anyone knows of?

Just curious if any cls63 or s550 parts are compatible with this car. I work at a auto wrecker and were wrecking these cars as well as a bunch of Mercedes. just wondering what I can steal off them to swap over??!! the left exhaust is bent on the E55 so Ill be trying to swap the mufflers off the cls63 but we'll see.

I would stick with E55 or E63 bumpers,etc.

Yah I think Ill be finding a e63 rear bumper and somehow mount the cls mufflers on.

I think you can do a nice swap one you have everything.

yah I wish but we dont have a e63 in the yard. Ill be buying a new bumper online somewhere. I see some people are selling the steering wheels with the paddleshifters....I wonder if I can do anything with that.....I have alot of research to do!

The I/C is tweaked and the oil cooler I think? Is that the little cooler in frt of the I/C? the engine oil cooler? I havent looked deep into it yet. Thursday I'm going to rip it apart. black out the headlight inner housings while I have the bumper off.

Anyone know of a direct bolt on I/C and oil cooler I can find?
