Audi's interiors are light years ahead of the amg. I drove my my friends 2011 S4 with dct tranny this weekend and let me tell you, that car is Just as fun to drive as the beast. The quattro and stiff suspension makes going WOT through a 90* turn full of win. The sports differential also helped I am sure. That cars dct also changes gears so fast you can barely feel it.

The new B8 S4 definitely has potential. I am surprised that the company APR is the only one doing things right now basically too, but they are killing it with a current monopoly over that model. Tune, exhaust, smaller supercharger pulley (they change the pulley there instead of the crank pulley like the E55) makes them considerable faster than stock and another company offers headers as well as APR just released a coolant system upgrade also.

Add in the newly released smaller pulley and upgraded cooling system and then headers and it becomes even more potent. When I am driving my E55 and not my Audi, I definitely miss the quattro awd when the damn traction control comes on in the E or the tires just spin if traction is off. Love the low end torque of the Benz though.

We are talking about a stock E55 against stock S5. And E55 can walk that thing as nothing period. Plus, E55K is been for 7 years and S5 only 2 years ? Audi really looks good inside out but not Hp and reliability.

still havent seen a e55 break 10 sec or any benz for that matter... i think 10.27 is the best and MB has done, while there are 5 audis on dragtimes that are at or under 9.5 sec and 6 audis that trap 150mph or better while only 4 MB trap better than 130mph

dont get me wrong, i love both MB and Audi but they are completely diff cars and hard to really compare
