Fan hotwire
This is for the people that go to the track and want to cool their engine down while waiting in the staging lane.
Remove the main fan harness. It locates on the upper passenger side of the fan shroud. It's somewhat hidden under the radiator support.
There are four wires. Two fat ones (brown and red) and two skinny ones (green and blue).
Use one splice and splice a piece of wires into the skinny green wire. Connect that wire to a switch and ground the switch. Button up everything and you're done.
You can also connect the green and blue wires to get the fan on. Whatever you do, don't let the blue wire hit a body panel/ground, if you do, check your fuse box for #52 .

So do you split the green wire, and splice two wires, one on each end of the split green wire, and have those wires connect to the switch? Or do you simply splice in one wire onto the green wire that goes to a switch?

Thanks for the info since this is helpful.
Another question, are the two fat power wires constant power or are they powered with the key. I'm wondering if that is a better location to tap to make the IC pump on with the key vs pulling a wire all the way from the fuse box...

in addition to this mod i would also recommend running the IC pump to switched 12v so the fluid can circulate when i the suction fan is on. if the fluid is not circulating in the system i dont think the fan mode is being utilized fully.

You can also regulate the fanspeed by your climate control.
Press the AC OFF button for 10 sek.
Go to option 10 (left side) and turn up the fan speed on the AC rad (right side).
Use the right side temp buttons and press the temp increase button to go up to 99.
