Burnt smell
Basically, a burnt smell comes from my e63 when i push it to max speed or when I race... At first I thought it would be the tires, but there is no smoke, and the smell seems to be stronger inside than outside, especially with the windows up.. I think it could be my transmission, because downshifts are very jerky so Im guessing its malfunctioning...

Any suggestions please?

do i have to change the whole suspension for that? I was at the dealership yesterday and they said since I have no warranty, if the transmission needs replacement, it will cost around $11k... thats a big "ouch".

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Drain and inspect the trans fluid and pan. This will give you a good idea of what is going on.
