Dynamic Route Guidance
As I understand it, Dynamic Route Guidance means that Nav provides `optimal' routes based on current congestion levels.
This requires someone to measure and provide by some kind of wireless info on current road conditions. While such info was sometimes made available in demo projects, I had not been aware of this type of info being provided routinely in most cities.
I have not kept up with this literature.
Can someone help. I think both Japan and Germany were planning to build such info systems. Do htey now exist? What is going ot happen in hte US?
