Have a 2010 E63, no AMG package so no LSD. Good news for 2012, you can just get the LSD without the whole package. Anyway, I'm looking to retrofit an aftermarket LSD. Looking at Kleemann, Renntech and Quaife. Anybody have one?? Anybody know which one is the best?? Anybody have an opinion about the locking %?? Think stock is around 40% - some of these go up to 60% - think the renntech is capable of 100%.

 

I think Renntech sells AMG LSD's that they have removed from low mileage customer cars for under $800. The quaife is nice as well and eurocharged is having a sale on them for $899.

 

Thanks - that would be a great deal on the renntech assuming they are in excellent shape - my dealer quoted $3,295 new.

 

Hmm, did the dealer qoute you with installation and for what Renntech sells new or for the AMG LSD? If its truly a Renntech, thats not a bad price for since I am pretty sure its a OS Giken which are usually around $3500 just for the unit.

 

That was just the part - brand new renntech. Kleemann was just over a grand - waiting for price on the quaife.
