nice car
I just got my first mercedes about 2 weeks ago and i must say i am very happy. I got a 2005 e500 with the amg package and etc. i was interested in putting a dvd player but the dealership said i would need a european radio version and it would cost me about 2000. i dont know what i should do any ideas. Thank you and by the way beautiful cars i see

Headliner is made from Alcantara. Did a quick google search, cause honestly I didn't know if it's synthetic or not. Here's a quick description I found> Alcantara upholstery:
Alcantara material, though man-made, has the look and feel of suede and stands up well to severe use.<
To answer your question; Yes it is standard on the E55.

What? since when was alcantara headliner standard on E55? I'm pretty sure it only comes with designo interior - as seen in those photos

2002 E55
The photo was taken by the dealership I purchased the vehicle from in Tampa. I live in NY and the car is scheduled to arrive tomorrow - I am very anxious to finally have this car in my posession.

IMHO 210 E55 is the best looking E55 ;-)
It's not pretty.....but it makes you respect it, unlike 211.
I often notice little kids and their fathers pointing fingers at it saying cool car ;-)
