Oil cooler fan
Does anyone know at what temperature does oil cooler fan kick in? Also, does is heardable from inside the cabin (maybe it is loud like IC pump or main cooling fan?) Also when does it usually kick in? After few WOT runs at hot climate or even before?

Me neither, so that is the reason i am questioning.... Neather does WIS have any info.....

i spent about 30 mins in WIS and DAS to see if I could find the threshold temp at which the fan kicks in but I could not. I am guessing 90F

90F ??

Isnt that a bit low?

I think it should kick in at cca 120 degrees Celzius (248F). But that is only my thoughts...I guess nobody knows for sure.....

Btw. what are your working engine oil temps (for those who measere them)?
