E55 then E63, now back to an E55
guys just to clarify, what I was referring to is this -
holding brakes, giving it gas to about 3000 or 3500 rpms, letting off brakes.
sliding sideways while hooking up and the tires then catching traction to take off
this achieves more wheel spin than a simple floor of throttle w traction off (in drive) can accomplish - much more smoke, spinning motion, etc (since stationary) but only for maybe 5-10 seconds not for long periods of time like some people do..
what if you have a 63 (lol we all know those dont really have any torque down low) and want to spin tires?? mashing throttle without holding brake (in drive), with traction control off does NOTHING. I remember making some videos of my old 63 burning off rear tires completely - only way was to step on brake and give her gas - was that really that bad for it?
