You can drive any way you want and at least average 15.7MPG
(Just press and hold the trip odometer for at least 3 seconds!)

2004 E55 AMG
Ha ha, I'm actually getting ready to drop the hammer on a 2011 5.0 and sell the E55. It's been a great car and I've put 50K on it, but it's seven years old and I've been itching for a new 5.0. There's just something about the new Mustangs that make me want one really bad. I miss shifting my own gears, and the sound those Mustangs make with a nice exhaust is amazing.

What makes you choose the 5.0 over the GT500, just curious? They are super strong out the box running deep 11s with minor bolt ins and off course the aftermarket is insane.

Honestly it all comes down to cost and practicality. I hardly ever get to use the E55's power, and I really just want something that sounds good, is a blast to drive, has a warranty, and comes in under $30K. I'd get in all kinds of trouble with a GT500, same reason I sold my ZX-12R after a year, it was just too easy to be stupid.

You make a good point bro, I have yet to even do one full wot blast in any gear without almost *** raming some one or running out of road. When I get home I will pm you a super sweet site that sells primo used 2011s from private owners. All enthusiasts, not sure if you are looking to buy new or used. The forum is loaded with information on those cars.

You should take a 03/04 cobra. If the car does have a upgraded blower then you will not win. When the 03/04 have the upgraded blower they make on the low side 600RWHP.

Damn, sucks about letting a good Mustang go. Once you have the taste for V8 Mustang in your blood, it's hard not to crave it and want it again. It goes past even performance figures, or HP, it's just the experience, the rawness, the sound, etc. etc.
Your quality of life will certainly go up by driving that gorgeous E55 every day, but one thing that I've noticed big time, is you can ALWAYS appreciate a car, and never tire of it, as long as you have something "lesser" to beat around in. Once you get acclimated to any car, you start craving something else. This is why I always love having 2 cars.
