Test fitting my AFR gauge

I like it a lot for the functionality. Having previously had an AFR gauge mounted too low, I can say that you don't get many chances to peek at it in a 500whp car. Go for it!

Another idea -
When I had my Audi TT I had my boost gauge mounted in the left air vent. It had enough space so there was airflow and looked stock. Now granted audi TT's have round vents but I have seen it don with square vents.

Or you could get real gangster and do something like this. Some Audi guys put boost gauges in the rear view mirror, find a small display to show a/f instead.

The vent gauges are pretty cool and look oem. Just got out of a friends' b7 with one an hour ago. Looks even better at night. Price is about 250 for an Audi from awetuning.
I ran a Podi like urbamworm posted on the last page and that worked out decent also.
No idea how much a custom one for the E would run though.

i think it looks dope, but i also like the pic that DCT has with gauges mounted on the pillar and rewrapped in alcantara. feed back is good, but at the end of the day its your car, do what you like.

I like it there. Its an aftermarket part that has functionality to it, who cares about trying to make it look "oem". I have the aem wideband in my other cars for years and love them. Its a must for me. Ima utilize that same location you got.

so what does an AFR gauge contribute (or detract) from resale value?
does it say:
'hey I care about how my car runs'
or
'i raced the **** out of this car'

I kinda like it there...we're else would you put it I guess? I agree that it needs to be some place in your line of vision when driving, but you don't exactly want it on show towards the other side of the car, so it's best to keep it on the driver/window area.
What gauge is it? UEGO?

or just quickly remove it before you decide to show it for resale, Just solder old connections and cap off the bung where the sensor goes. If one isnt the type to do things yourself, just pay someone to do it
