How can I disable my brake lights?

Yes, that's right. Is there a way to connect a toggle switch to disable ALL brake lights from illuminating? Why you ask? My cousin is a trooper, and he says that when in pursuit of a speeding vehicle, they have been trained to watch for the brake lights. This allows them to follow the vehicle at night if the driver attempts to elude. He says prople that try and flee at night, normally turn off their driving lights, but they can still follow when the brake lights illuminate. Any advice would be appreciated.

Wow! I didn't know that my request for information would elicit such contemptment. First, fleeing and/or eluding in Illinois is NOT a felony, unless it is coupled with a crime such as a robbery. It is a misdemeanor, the same as 31+ miles an hour over the speed limit. So for those of you who were so quick to pass judgment, I suggest you look in the mirror the next time you are doing over 85, or street racing! LMAO, the gall to pass judgment and you do the **** EVERYDAY!
For those of you who replied with USEFUL information I extend my thanks and appreciation.

apparently theres a brake light switch by the brake pedal or you could just put a relay on the brake light power and once 12v is applied it will open the loop... might not be that simple though
