OE Tuning thread
Just out of curiosity why did the thread get deleted? I understand if it got locked, but deleted? Whats wrong with somebody sharing their experience with the community? Censorship for what? I haven't seen any other debates of tuning companies threads get deleted, only locked... What all transpired here?

The instant one of the sponsors name is brought into question this happens, doesn't seem equitable. People have to be allowed a reasonable opportunity to express their experience good or bad for the good of the entire community.

I never understood this deleting threads business on here. If someone has an issue with a sponsor I don't see why everyone shouldn't know. I'm not tuned so I'm not picking sides but I have definitely seen EC threads that were just locked. Not deleted.

i don't remember as i don't recall seeing the screen name before but i did notice a 533 post count so they weren't a one hit wonder.

To summarize...
OE tune/hand held gizmo bricked Superstars ECU on his C55 turbo whatever. OE attempted to fix it with a used ECU which didn't work then they refused to pay for a new ECU. OP trying to do this all from australia and has spent thousands now on a new ECU. OP is out an additional 1286 dollars for OE custom tune that never worked and bricked his ECU and OE refused to give refund for tune.

If you can read I said " It was obviously deleted for a REASON" ****ing smart ***... And whats up with all this EC vs OE garbage.. Both companies have had issues.. This is what you get into when you start modifying your cars and stuff starts to go wrong.. Suck it up and move on

Wow your smart! No shiet is was obviously deleted for a reason.
It has nothing to do with tuning companies, OE Tune is great, one of my friends cars is tuned by them and it runs super strong, heck it was even pulley on me with my mods, before my re-tune... Thats besides the point.
