Dead Battery & ECU Question
I posted this in the other thread but now its gone. If your battery is dead and you charge incorrectly or jump start it can you? or will fry your ecu? and if you do fry it what are the signs? won't start?, lights do not work?, radio won't work? I'm asking because my battery is dead and before I try to charge it or jump it I would like to know. The main battery and the auxiliary battery are both 8yrs old so I'm pretty sure that it's time for a pair of new batteries but I would like an answer if someone has some helpful info?

Just jump it like a normal car, red to red and black to black. I've done that to my car many times without any problem.

Red to Red
Black to Chassis ground

Might be time just replace that main and call it a day.
