2006 E55 AMG
active headlamp adjustment
ok now ive got my e55 in good shape after buying almost a month ago (seat track and pano roof were messed up) i have one slight issue with my active headlamps , when i turn they aim up or down too much and it seems they arent moving smoothly , the driver side i know is supposed to be a bit lower but is way lower and i think someone played with the two adjustment allen screws on them . can anyone tell me what those do? there are two on each headlamps and i cant seem to find out what they do and before i mess with them id like to know if i can hurt anything by turning them too far in one direction or more important what they adjust . thanks . btw its a 2006 e55 w211 with all the options. also has some nice staggered 20" replica e55 wheels. .

Outer screws adjust horizontal (side to side) movement whereas the inner ones(closer to high beams) adjust the height.
