My first Pull in the 63 vs....

My first Pull in the 63 vs....
I didn't want to do any racing with the 63 as my other cars have mostly satisfied my need for speed and the 63 is just a fun car with a lil muscle.
But my buddy has a nicely modded 911 that walks litre bikes and we were both on the turnpike when a few randoms seen us line up.The randoms were playing catch up for awhile and wanted a piece of us.Needless to say the 911 runs from when we did a few 50-160 pulls and the random players that were an 08 M3, 06 M5, Turbo S2K, N2O 06 GTO, and a older CLK55. The M5 hung the best out of all of them.If I didnt get that good start at the ideal RPM that M5 would ve creeped passed me after 140MPH.
The M5 also had a very loud exhaust that I could hear over my 63.
The short vids I have from my phone are uploading now and I await the pix and vids from the 911 guy later today.I told myself I would use both my Supras for racing so I wouldnt race the 63 but this time I had to at least see if this 63 was all hype,and it wasn't
I still think I want a cruiserthough,not much need for this monster and I wouldn't want to rape it like I see some of the 55 guys do.Maybe cause it cost to much to repair is why I am so gently with this one.lol

Considering you have two turbo Supras making that much power, there's very little out there that will ''have the hype".
Nowadays, it's crazy when people say a low 12 second with 115-117mph traps isn't "the hype". I've never sat/driven a 63 car, but it's nuts that a car like that isn't considered much by today's standards!

My last minute phone vids suck but here is 2 of the pulls. soon as the 911 guy uploads all of his youll see better action.We had used our handsfree BT phone to talk the whole time.I couldnt hear his horn so this was how we did it and how we picked o nthe other cars.

Nice vids and clean looking car! Just one thing... I think I know EXACTLY where you guys were each and every time on the "turnpike".

Hahah that's great. Racing and driving on Route 18. Now I remember the name of that little highway.
Lots of students drive there and when you hit University campus near their exists, a decent amount of student buses too...
If it was near there, how did you guys manage to hit triple digits speeds? If I can remember, it's not too easy with the traffic and people around there.
