Tire Pressure Monitor Inop

Totally lost my tire pressure monitoring. SDS says the TPM control unit is OK. I think there is a remote chance it may be the central antenna (Yes it is a U.S. version). The normal user reactivation process via command functions properly, but eventually gives an error message that the system is inop (duh!).

There appears to be no signal received from any of the 4 wheel transmitters. WIS seems to indicate the central antenna is under the left rear section of the car. My guess it that the TPM control unit's receiver is probably a ghost, but I suppose it's possible the antenna could have failed, although that is really unlikely as it is totally passive. Any thoughts on this?

When you reset it, are you saying it works? Then quits?

No - - - It tries to reactivate and after about 5 minutes of driving gives a message that it has failed. I will take a look and see what codes are stored. I still think it's the antenna or the control unit. What do you think?

Are the "in wheel sensors" the original ones? If so the batteries may be dead after 7 years.
New sensors on flea bay are $200 each. I think you can get them from tire rack much cheaper.
