I love this car even more now that I....
....drive the car in "M" transmission mode all the time.
I've started popping the tranny into "M" mode each morning after the engine warms up, and honestly, it seems like a new car to me. I've owned it for nearly 10 months, and while I've enjoyed it, I have never liked the shift patterns on the car in either Sport or Comfort settings. It always seemed like it was was shifting far too early, and the RPM's were too low when I needed them. I did the "sneaky ECU reset" mentioned here, and was still never thrilled - it always seemed like I needed to flick the paddle shifter down once or twice to catch the juice.
Now, in MANUAL mode, its a total beast, always in the perfect gear, and ready to pounce at all times. Its made a world of difference in how much I love this car.
Just passing on my two cents.

Totally agree! How do you handle intersection turns that are kinda long. I find myself having to search around for the correct button to hit 2nd or it's screaming by the time I make the turn.
Otherwise, I am hooked on it too!

I drive in M mode around town all the time. I use the shifter and not the paddles as its very comfortable for me this way.I enjoy the way it drives/sounds to hold it in gear 200 rpms longer than what S or C mode does.I dont rev it high at all, just love to hold a gear a tad longer than auto does.Sounds great.

I use Sport mode but use the shift buddles to change gears. I shift 1-4 and then ride from there and if I come to a stop I don't have to remember to shift out of first in case of loud music or funny conversations

I drive in M almost everyday. I think the car is faster this way for sure and also shifts faster. Haven't tried on the track yet but I think S is better for the 1/4 mile.

Agreed with all! "M" mode gives it that M5 feel, rather jerky but with A LOT of power at any time. Well, it gives it that M5 feel with but out the feel that your car is rattling apart. lol
