Are you speaking about the white /w ash?
I don't think they do on the E-class. I been looking for White/Ash and Pano for ever... settled for Flint gry/Ash ...Ash is the best...

They exist still. Just have to look real hard. That one looks to be priced with the premium tax too. LOL
I miss my Black CL65, nothing like it. In the summer cruisng with all windows down was amazing (no pillars).

You think on the street, a tuned CL65 is quicker than say, a stage 3 E55

I always here people say the power delivery is so smooth compared to the M113K motor, but how can it be when you are making so much TQ down low?
If you dont mind me asking, what was maintenance like on the Bison, pricey??

If its just an ECU flash, the stage 3 might hang with it.
If you add the speedriven package which consist of intercoolers, Intake, Tune and TCU, I dont think so.
Add to that the famous rear tank 5 gallon reservoir a little cat delete and you've got yourself a monster.
In terms of power delivery, I think many refer to just the ECU mod version. its very smooth as speeds increase.
Off the line with drag radials and the mods I had you might be wearing a neckbrace for a month + if not pressed against your headrest properly.

900+ rwtq catapults this 4700 lb car off the line like a lightweight.

I guess when I refer to mods, it would be primary, secondary, resonator and mufflers delete
Coupled with the trunk tank reservoir, ECU and TCU tune right off the bat. Is the drivetrain able to handle such an increase in HP/TQ, and what are the big maintenance milestones in terms of mileage and cost?
Do they benefit from aftermarket headers at all?

In terms of maintenance, all I ever changed were brakes, oil & filters my tech did these for a fraction of the cost.
How could I forget 2 coil packs. LOL I had warranty for those.
Aftermarket headers?? Not really since the manifolds comes as one piece attached with the turbos. You could always create your own manifolds and get aftermarket turbos...big, big big, gains...

I would also but I have found lots of things I would rather spend money on as of late. Although it would be a KILLER upgrade
My car is already plenty fast enough and has plenty of room for a DD. Maybe it'll change in a few months to a year.

Why not go for a CL600 with the AMG/Sport pack ? Much ezer to find in white it you like and about 1/2 the price as the CL65 for all same mods and fun?
I've been craving some power and have always liked the W215, so the CL600 V12TT seemed like the right choice. A close friend has an E55 with pulley and tune, his car feels very raw compared to the V12 CL. He just kept saying over and over how quite, smooth and how much higher the build quality seams. If you take one for a test drive be sure to do the ECU reset, as most CL owner baby their cars, when I did it to mine it was crazy different off the line.
Heres one all set to go......
