Anyone know where I can find the wire for the outside air temperature sensor?

Can was in a body shop and I was missing the sensor.. Now I bought the sensor and can't find the clip for it.

Anyone know what harness the wire for the sensor comes off of? Does it follow the headlamp harness down? Or does it come from somewhere else?

Im not sure where the wires start at, but I know the sensor is located next to the drivers side foglight tucked behind the lower mesh grill.

 

Yeah, I know where the sensor is supposed to be.... there is no wire for it, so I'm trying to trace it back and find it.

I know where the sensor sits, I want to know where the wire would be for it. The wire is missing.. what harness does it come there through? where does it connect to? I need to trace it all the way back as my cable is gone.

 

start by looking in the fog light wiring harness loom

 

Did that, no luck :/

 

ask the body shop if they did any cutting of wires

Not likely the oroginal posters still on the forum after 13 years. But, for the W211 body car the temp sensor wiring goes to the left side under-hood SAM. Not sure about your 221, but it may well do the same.
