I want to get basically all the chrome parts of the car black, including the door handles.

Does anybody know how to get the door handles off? Does the entire interior door panel have to come off or is there an easier way, maybe to pry the handles?

Also, I'm assuming the other chrome pieces simply pop/pry off easily? I am talking about the thin chrome pieces along the side of the doors, under the headlights and below the tailights...

I did a diy for the door handle replacement, search for that

The chrome strips are easy on the sides of the car to remove. Look on hte opposite side of the door (interior) and you will see a screw. Remove that and the impact strip slides away.

How about the chrome strips on the front end of car below the headlights and rear end of the car, same process ?

no those suck *****....small screwdriver to pop them out...and you will break some of the clips...

Are ALL those clips absolutely necessary?

Maybe it's too much headache to do those
