if you dont recognixe my name check out my last thread and see how recent it was..
Tonight, stopped at a light at Sunset blvd after visiting some tourist spots since i just moved out here. had the e63 just shy of two weeks, and as i sit in the number 1 position at the light. BAMMMMMM
Ford truck driven by a 20 something chick drives through my car as if i wasnt even there. probably 25 mph with no brakes at all. bumper is annhialated...trunk is bent in half.
Im so upset i can hardly react.

Dude! Your luck sucks man. First the lady that backed into you and now this!? I'm so sorry to read this. I hope everything works out for you and I wish you better luck from here on out. Let us know how this situation pans out for you.

That sucks bro. Least it happens in the safety of a Benz. These cars aren't just powerful beasts theyre some of the safest cars on the road. Hopefully the insurance mess is as painless as possible.

Me and passenger are fine, no worries. The transgressor was definitely not hot, in fact quite a horrific looking beast. Anyway, she did have insurance, begged me not to call cops or insurance, which i did both. taking it over to fletcher jones in a couple hours to say goodbye for a few weeks.
Novae man you have a point but i love this car too much and have only had it 2 weeks... lets see the damage first. if its just a bumper and trunk i will say that my bad luck is behind me and move forward. If anything that matters is messed up we will start talking about launching it and starting over fresh.....

fletcher jones was where my car sold new
Looking at my service book they did great job with all services.
They even give me (second owner) over the phone a full run down of what was in their service records.
I think they might total it. At the speed at a stop lots of chassie damage i am sure.

having trouble with the pictures. they dont show the damage very well anyway. if you could imagine, the trunk is pushed in and up about an inch off where it should sit. And the bumper is simply shatterred from end to end, probably 30% of the bumper was left on the road. No airbags but the head restraints popped out.
All is well here though, its just a matter of time. Her insurance has assumed full responsibility and waived my deductible, set up direct billing for a rental (a C class, but hey my insurance was only paying for a dodge), and they are set up for direct billing of all the repair costs at fletcher jones (which is like the Disneyland of MB if you have never been).
Only thing left to do now is cheer up and drive the wheels right off that C class while i wait!
