Who's making big power here?
I am tempted to just bite the bullet and mod the E63 or sell it and grab a C63 as that may be better for some mods.
So besides a complete full exhaust and new airboxes with a good tune is there anyone running a big shot of juice on a 63? I'm thinking 100-150 shot progressively?
I'm trying not to drop coin on a new CTS-V coupe or a Jag XF-R and see what I can do with this E63 or maybe a C63.Please discuss.

Right now I would give my left arm for a blown 6.3 engine with headers and exhaust and tune.
I say save up and go Weistec blower.
Vid is from AMG point of view.

jackpro1: I dont think that blower is in the budget? A good healthy dose of the funny gas would be simple and make good power for the bang for the buck I would think?
skratch77: I hear ya on the E55, TurboLou rides around here all the time in that white E55 with roll bar and goes a nice 10.7 on the bottle. He keeps up fairly well with my buddy's 997. Too bad this SRT8 jeep can run down even the 997 so that makes the jeep a single digit tank.

Thats a lil more than I wanted to spend. And out the box its not that fast $ for $.
I need somewhat of a budget.Lets say total out of pocket $55K in the end depending on which it is? I just figured spraying a the E or C 63 would have some good results with the other bolt on and tune?

i would get a tune , delete a set or both sets of cats and throw a evo pulley on and you should be in the low 12s hi 11s .
these cars adapt and only get quicker and if you check everyones times on Dragtimes guys start up with the almost itentical times you pulled and the next time out their MPHs go up and they shave several tenths off their times .
Just gotta do alot of tricks to see what works . To maximize shift points try some backroad runs and manually shift in S mode and try maxing out the rpms and hold it before it shifts to try and readapt shift points .
This was my biggest issue that my car was shifting around 6200-6500 RPM @ WOT .
There are several guys with tons of knowledge about tracking this car and the best would have to be MBforever .
TExt me if you wanna hit Atco one day . Im gonna do some tweaks to my CL and wanna track it .
you still got my cell ??? ?

I thought he had the fastest stock..? I don't see how a non-pano with LT's, Renntech or Evo airbox, and a good tune wouldn't be there...Grab the pulley for good measure too...

modded 11.950 gixxer stock 11.952 so pretty much dead even .
There is a RENNtech car thats a member here that had hit a 11.7 but i havent seen any post or vids yet which i know he will do eventually .
I havent seen anyone hit less than a 1.80 60ft on a 211 E63 .
My car with the 19s and lowered was consistant low 1.8s with a best of 1.80 flat . So modded and no 1.7 60ft i cannot see a mid 11 from one of these 211 e63s without a power adder or some serious weight reduction .
Also once i started ripping off consistant low 1.8s i smoked 2 transmissions the last two times at the track including right after the pass below
