Is it true.??
I was checking on autopartswarehouse just to remember about what front pads cost on the 63 (MB members get wholesale price at the Park Place dealers here, score) and when it listed it showed OEM and EBC yellow and reds...I remember hearing murmurs about them making them for the 63 fronts, but I hadn't heard they were out...I think it's a little weird they are close to 50% less than OEM for the yellows and way less for the reds...Just curious if anyone knew this to be true or not...

OEM pads
I found OEM front pads in box from Ebay for 155 shipped. MB PN numbers paper work everything from Holland. I will check paypal for the seller.if you are interested in going back to OEM.
I am not in need or rear pads and will be on Ebay looking around. The after market pads sweek way more then OEM on the 63 I think because they are harder and will kill the rotors faster. I see the price of rotors I will rather change pads all day long.

It's more about the ridiculous amounts of dust than anything price related...Especially since I don't have MB rotors on anymore...I will probably go OEM, just because I love the bite and the fade resistance...

Gentlemen,
Try www.rockauto.com I found complete front and rear pads for my car for $197. I couldn't freakin believe it, so I called them to verify.

I've also been on the hunt for an option to limit brake dust without ruining or increasing wear on existing rotors. Porterfield pads look interesting but don't know if i could drop them in with existing rotors or have to go with new ones from evosport. Not even sure how to tell when rotors need replacement, I just know they don't feel warped.

Each rotor typically has a minimum thickness stamped on them somewhere. You would need a micrometer to measure their thickness. Once your rotors have reached their minimum thckness or lifespan, they tend to heat up more rapidly increasing your stopping distance. If your unsure your dealership, will be glad to measure them for you, for free. With the hopes that you will buy new rotors Typically the pads wil wear out before the rotors will. These rotors are very beefy, and heavy. I have 40K on my brakes, and the pads have 50% life left in them, and the rotors are still good to go.
