Ok so it's most probably fuel pump, as I mentioned in another post I changed it less than 5k miles ago... I smell it intermittently therefore how long do I have until it fails and my car doesn't start... happened to me last time in bad neighbourhood. So anyway yeah how long until It fails can I keep driving it for a while or I gotta bring it to my indy who installed it in the first place...

did the tech check the fuel sending unit? when they replaced the fuel pump?

the back seat is pretty easy to pull up and check for leak. have you look under the seat yet. kinda hard to tell how long you have. i dont think there is a set time for the pump to stop being able to pump fuel. kinda of like the lotto you never know.
