E55K Nur NO supercharger shut off ???
The E55K when tested around the Nurburgring ran something like 8min+
How the hell did the supercharger not shut off or the car start pulling heavy timing!
Most ppl on the street cant do more then 5 straight pulls with out supercharger shut off or some sort of heat soak!
& to think some one was going flat stick for 8+ min how the hell did it not shut the superchrger off
anyone ???

lol. If your supercharger is shutting off after 5 runs your pump is bad or you have air in the system. Or you have another problem. Even with a good pump and and lightly modded the SC won't shut off unless there is a problem somewhere. Heat soak is different, meaning your boost is dropping and running less efficiently because of the amount heat being generated after each WOT run but never enough not killing the SC.

I raced my friends big turbo supra from 30-150mph 4 back to back runs and saw 175 on the last runs for my aits with 68degrees ambient.Thats with 530whp and normal intercooler system(not spilt) and a 178mm pulley
I think the blower shuts off around 195 degrees and there is no way a stock car will shut down on the ring with stock boost enless it 110 out or a dead pump.
I pulled the supra by a half car all the way to 145 and then he started to catch me since our cars have the longest 4th gear in the world lol...or Iwas heat soaked ha

2005 E55 AMG
When my pump was bad my IAT's would get to 215* before the SC would shut off. Now I can beat the crap out of it without an issue and I am modded. A stock E55 should not have any issues with IAT's.
