HOOKED UP BATTERY WRONG
HOOKED UP BATTERY WRONG
Guys, I accidentally tried to hook up the small battery under the air filter wrong. Reverse polarity. It was only for a few seconds until I realized what was going on. Now I have no power anywhere car is completely dead. I checked all the fuses and relays under the hood, in the rear trunk drivers side and also the ones next to the big trunk battery. All are fine. Am I missing one or two somewhere?
These are shots in the dark, but things I would check would be the aux battery relay or the BCM. The BCM may require STAR
Hopefully some pros will chime in and offer other items to look out for.
Edit:
This is a crappy photo, but it should give you an idea of where the aux battery relay is...

Regards,
Oscar

What was the end result?
Hi, I know this was posted 4 years ago but what was the final answer to your question?
May car results has a similar issue after installing headers and dropping the manifold on the starter and a bunch of sparks shot out. Know the car has no electricity.
Thanks!
Ian
