I am from the 305 too (Florida Keys) and a long time Miami fan. Have had a Sebastian the Ibis charm around my neck for 17 years.

Are you kidding, only during the winter? You don't care about for Spring Break (one of the top destinations in the country) when there are women everywhere in Daytona Beach, Panama City Beach, South Beach, Florida Keys? Or during the holidays like Memorial day weekend, Labor Day weekend and 4th of July where there are huge parties on sand bars out on boats.
And then just tons of other fun to be had throughout the year at things like Ultra Music Festival in South Beach, Nightlife of South Beach that is at the top of places in the World. Big time college sports activities from the University of Miami, University of Florida and Florida State University that are all usually very good in many different sports, multiple professional sports teams in football, baseball and hockey, or other things like Fantasy Fest in Key West (like mardi gras only a little crazier with body painted people and crazy costumes) or Guavaween in Ybor City.
Amusement parks like Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet n Wild and Busch Gardens. One of the top drag strips in the country that hosts the NHRA Gatornationals, and a few other drag strips available through out the state, one of the top race tracks in the country Daytona International speedway which hosts Daytona 500 and other nascar races, Daytona 200 super bike races, supercross races, Rolex 24 hours race and monster trucks. Very nice golf courses all over the state if you are in to that, and the list goes on for other thing to do year round. No state income tax, no emissions for cars, there are just so many positives that there is no way I would want to live in another state and I have been to Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusettes, Colorado, Utah and California so different places all over the U.S.

Miami, great pics of the tailgate!!! Great time with good food/drinks!! Sure miss WMC in the mid 2000....went 3 yrs straight. Cant beat partying till sunrise @Space!

Miami is a third world country.
Its completely overrated.
I prefer NYC with the ****ty roads, income tax, and girls that actually talk to you.

Yeah, I don't think I could live there, as I have no desire to learn Spanish. But a long weekend in South Beach is like hanging out at a Miss Venezuela pageant.

I must agree with you. I still don't have a clue what my mother-in-law saying. Even if she is speaking English. Lol. I can't leave Florida though.
