To be fair... I think that's to convert a non-SC engine. Lots of extra parts involved for that one.

Hopefully adding a bigger blower to the E55 is a simpler and less parts-intensive process.

I think If they offered the upgraded blower for the 55 for about $5k they would get some takers for sure..

looking at the parts list for the 63 kit , looks like we would need all the same things minus the H/E ($500 value) and I/c pump ($175 value) so i doubt thats gonna cut a lot off the price... i would say 90% of the cost is in the S/C unit itself so i wouldnt expect a 55 kit for under $10
