What's with my volts? *video*
I've been battling this for a few weeks now.
First symptom: flickering passenger headlight, but only with the car on. Car off = never an issue
Second symptom: Convenience malfunction warning - though they still worked/were on.
Third: Brake malfunction
I got the car home and turned it off, then on and everything was fine - except the headlight.
I bought and replaced the voltage regulator, as the core itself is just over a year old. Swapped that and still the same issue.
Sometimes my voltage is fine, other times its barely cracking 12 when in drive and headlights on.
Ive had both batteries tested - they came out fine, 100% charged. I had the alternator tested, and it came back with a bad diode. But how are the batteries fully charged if the alternator is out of whack?

Should I have this rebuilt, or buy a new one. Could a place like NAPA have the know-how to accomplish this?
