Gauging Interest in Custom intercooler tank

OK So I'am going to be doing an intercooler trunk mount tank kit using my car as a test dummy. We all know how good the results are and how your IAT temps will drop ten fold. But no one has a kit that can be installed with instructions and your done for the 55s.

This will consist of:

2.5-4 gal tank in the trunk
Lines from the tank to the blower with all fittings
Pump
install instructions

Does anyone have any interest in this? If so please let me know ill be more than happy to help my fellow members

I would really like to see a front tank mounted to avoid lines running under the car to the back.

If you want to do something really worth while, relocate the aux battery inside the car and remove the windshield washer tank and build a custom tank there. Tbal started with the idea and then I mentioned it to my tech and this is what he told me he would do if it was his car.

I wanted to do one in the bay as well. But volume is the concern you want to have at least 2.5 galons avaliable. If its doable in the bay witht he right ammount of space iam in.

trunk tank as been done and tested before. It has been proven to work. no test dummy required if you mean a rear trunk tank

this is what you all need
1. rear tank from dad intercooler tanks
2. rule2000 12v non automatic in tank bilge pump 100 on amazon
3. 50ft of goodyear 3/4 inch heater hose 25 on ebay
5. Male 3/4 PVC drain valve 5 at home depot
6. screw clamps 90 cent at home depot
7. couple of 90 barb fitting if you need them so the hose doesnot kink 97 cents at home depot
8. some DEI heat wrap to cover pipes if the get close to exhaust tubing

Tap fuse F13 on driver side fuse panel in trunk to get a switched 12v

Remember to isolate the engine and s/c cooling system. Once this is done rear tank will self bleed the system

Look at this thread for pics and more info
