modding the e55 , am i asking too much ?
what should i expect and what size pulley would be best?
im going to do a pulley , cooling mods and a tune , not sure what size pulley do go with but 175 -180 mm seems to be the choices. i am used to doing blower pulley swaps but in the case we have with the e55 the bigger crank pulley is to overdrive all the associated pullies. now i know the blower has an independent belt drive , does the pulley they use just overdrive the blower and has a standard acc drive size?
i have to keep this car reliable and it has about 65k on it , not brand new by any means but is in good shape . its a daily driver and does under 100 miles a week since its driven close. i just want to be able to notice a jump in power , keep reliablility and be able to knock out a 2011 cts-v sedan 11's at the local 1/4 mile would be nice , does this seem feasable or am i asking too much .?
id like to keep the exhaust stock for visual inspection and keep it stock sounding .
any feedback is welcomed as i know these threads are common and lack of searching will not get any response
