Here are some pics. Not the best quality as it was taken with my phone. The paint job looks white, but it really is a beautiful metallic silver. It came out really nice. First two photos are of the materials and tools I used and the next three are of the interior.

I bought all the supplies at O'Reilly Auto Parts in San Rafael, CA.

For those of us with the early consoled with the pop-out cupholder, anyone know how to remove that? THanks for making this thread, super useful!

I got the cupholder out easily, but looking to paint the cover/flap.
