Color
I thought I had my color all choosen until last weekend. Boy, silver and pewter does look nice in the E55.
Has anybody seen or have a picture of an E55 in black Opal? That was my original color choice. But, I am having second thoughts. On a CLK, black opal is beautiful. I just haven't seen one in and E55 with those nice amg wheels.

Go with Pewter--it's beautiful. More pix at '03 E55 AMG link below.
As I'm sure you know, with a black car, you'll have a second career detailing your car!!!

I would go with black on this car. It really does look classy. The brakes put out enough dust on this car that I have had to clean the wheels anyway, so I would probably be washing it just as often if it was another color.

Do you think that the Tectite color is for older people? I actually like the Platnium blue, but all my friends, family, and salespeople think that is for older ladies. So I have dropped that color. I was kinda think that for the Pewter, but it does look nice. I have a white car now, so I am trying to stay away from white. Had many black cars. Too hard to maintain for an everyday car.

I ordered obsidian black met. because I think the E55 looks classy and aggressive in black but hey, different people...different tastes. Never ask other people, go for the color you like.
Maybe not yellow or pink but...
